David A. Ross has more than 30 years experience as an art museum professional and has served as director of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston. Noted for his work with emerging artists and new media, Mr. Ross has been involved in the organization and jurying process of major international exhibitions including the Venice Biennale, Documenta and The Carnegie International.Mr. Ross is a Trustee of the Studio Museum in Harlem and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Anaphiel Foundation. He serves on the Curatorial Committee of the CRT Foundation in Turin, Italy, and on the Curatorial Advisory Committee of La Caixa in Barcelona, Spain. He is an active member of the board of Rhizome, a new media organization associated with the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York City. He is currently the editor-at-large for flypmedia.com.Mr. Ross received a BS, Syracuse University, Newhouse School of Communications. In 2011, The School of Visual Arts in New York introduced a Master of Arts in Art Practice that is chaired by Mr. Ross.

David Elliott is a British-born art gallery and museum curator, and writer about modern and contemporary art. He has had a long and distinguished career including Director of MoMA Oxford, the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, President of CIMAM, the International Committee of ICOM for Museums of Modern and Contemporary Art, Director of the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo and the first Director of Istanbul Modern. David was the Artistic Director for the 17th Biennale of Sydney, and also acted as an advisor to the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charitable Trust on the artistic development and programming of the Central Police Station Heritage Site at the eastern end of Hollywood Road in central Hong Kong. David was AD of the first Biennale of Contemporary Art in Kiev and is currently AD of the 4th international Biennale of Young Art in Moscow due to open June 2014. He is also the Chairman of the Boards of the following non-profits: Triangle Arts Network, London and MOMENTUM Worldwide Berlin. He is currently based in Berlin and Hong Kong.

Lady Elena Ochoa (Dr. Elena Foster of Thames Bank) was born in Orense, Spain. For over twenty years, she held the position of Professor of Psychopathology at the Complutense University of Madrid, and until 2001 was Honorary Professor at King’s College, London. In the course of her academic career, she has been Hispanic/North American Fulbright scholar at the University of California, and as Visiting Professor, conducted research at numerous universities in Europe as well as in the United States. In 1996, Lady Foster founded Ivorypress publishing house. She directed the C Photo Project, conceived to promote photography and contemporary art through publications, exhibitions and academic and institutional support (Ivorypress has organised the creation of a Chair of Contemporary Art at the University of Oxford, among its other sponsorships at different academic institutions). Along with the team at Ivorypress, she has curated international exhibitions, such as C on Cities, 10th Venice Biennale of Architecture (2006); NY C, Phillips de Pury, New York (2007); Blood on Paper, Victoria & Albert Museum, London (2008); Real Venice, 54th Venice Biennale (2011); Somerset House, London (2011). She serves as Member of the Board of Directors of the Mutual Art Trust and the Prix Pictet Photography Prize. Lady Foster was President of the Tate International Council and member of the Governing Board of the Tate Foundation between 2004 and 2008, as well as Trustee of the Isamu Noguchi Foundation. She serves as patron of diverse museums, foundations and international schools of contemporary art and photography.
Hans Ulrich Obrist
Co-Director, Exhibitions and Programs and Director of International Programs, Serpentine Gallery
Hans Ulrich Obrist was born in Zurich, Switzerland, and currently lives and works in London. Obrist was named art’s second most powerful figure in 2010, by Art Review, after being its most powerful the previous year (2009). In 2009, he was also made an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). In 1993, he founded the Museum Robert Walser and directed the Migrateurs program at the ARC/ Musee d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, where he served as a curator for contemporary art until spring of 2006. Significant monographic exhibitions co-curated there include: Olafur Eliasson, Philippe Parreno, Steve McQueen, Jonas Mekas, Yoko Ono, Anri Sala and Doug Aitken. In 2012, he co-curated Jonas Mekas, Thomas Schütte Faces and Figures, Yoko Ono TO THE LIGHT, Herzog & de Meuron and Ai Weiwei Pavilion and the Memory Marathon at the Serpentine Gallery, London; To the Moon via the Beach, LUMA Foundation, Arles; Lina Bo Bardi, Casa de Vidro, Sao Paolo; A call for unrealized projects, DAAD and e-flux, Berlin. Obrist’s recent publications include A Brief History of Curating, Project Japan: Metabolism Talks with Rem Koolhaas, Ai Weiwei Speaks, along with new volumes of his Conversation Series. Obrist is also the co-curator of EXPO 1: New York, MoMA PS1, 2013 and 89plus, 2013, a long-term, international, multi-platform research project. In all, since 1991, Obrist has curated over 150 exhibitions internationally.
John Baldessari currently lives in Santa Monica, and works in Venice, California. Baldessari is one of the most influential artists in the Post-War American scene. As a pioneer in Conceptual Art, Baldessari has, through exhibitions and through his teaching, been a central figure in the emergence of California as a major source of energy and new ideas in the visual arts. His work as an artist is distinguished by a relentless questioning of the ways in which works of art convey meaning. He is represented in most of the world's major contemporary and modern museum collections. In addition to teaching at UCLA, Baldessari serves on the board of several nonprofit institutions and foundations. He is also the recipient of many major awards, including the Guggenheim Fellowship in 1986, the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2009 Venice Biennial, memberships in the American Academy of Arts and Letters and in the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Americans for the Arts Lifetime Achievement Award, the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative, and the BACA International 2008. His artwork has been featured in more than 200 solo exhibitions and in over 1000 group exhibitions in the U.S. and Europe. His projects include artist books, videos, films, billboards and public. Dr. Melissa Chiu
Museum Director and Senior Vice President, Global Arts and Cultural Programs Asia Society
Dr. Melissa Chiu is the Director of the Asia Society Museum in New York and the Senior Vice President for Global Arts and Cultural Programs for the Society's 11 centers and affiliates in the United States and Asia including cultural centers in Hong Kong and Houston. She was appointed Museum Director in 2004, after joining Asia Society in 2001 as the first-ever curator of contemporary Asian and Asian American art in the United States.
As a leading authority on Asian contemporary art, she has initiated a number of major initiatives at the Asia Society Museum, including the launch in 2007 of a contemporary art collection to complement the museum's renowned collection of traditional Asian art, gifted to the Society in 1978 by Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller 3rd. She is the author of numerous articles and books including Breakout: Chinese Art Outside China (2007), Chinese Contemporary Art: 7 Things You Should Know (2008), Asian Art Now (2010, co-authored with Benjamin Genocchio) and an anthology Contemporary Art in Asia: A Critical Reader (2011, co-edited with Benjamin Genocchio).
Melissa was previously a board member of the Association of Art Museum Directors, the American Alliance of Museums, and served on the Advisory committees for the USC American Academy in China, Gwangju Biennale and Shanghai Biennale.
